How To Uninstall libconfuse-common On Debian 7

To uninstall libconfuse-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libconfuse-common

Common files for libConfuseDebian 7.0libs2.7-4
sudo apt-get remove libconfuse-common

This will remove just the libconfuse-common package itself.

Uninstall libconfuse-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libconfuse-common

This will remove the libconfuse-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libconfuse-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libconfuse-common

Or similarly, like this libconfuse-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libconfuse-common
