How To Uninstall libcvm1-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libcvm1-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcvm1-dev

Credential Validation Modules (development files, documentation)Debian 7.0libdevel0.96-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libcvm1-dev

This will remove just the libcvm1-dev package itself.

Uninstall libcvm1-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcvm1-dev

This will remove the libcvm1-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcvm1-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcvm1-dev

Or similarly, like this libcvm1-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcvm1-dev
