How To Uninstall libdaq0 On Debian 7

To uninstall libdaq0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdaq0

Data Acquisition library for packet I/O - shared libraryDebian 7.0libs0.6.2-2
sudo apt-get remove libdaq0

This will remove just the libdaq0 package itself.

Uninstall libdaq0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdaq0

This will remove the libdaq0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdaq0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdaq0

Or similarly, like this libdaq0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdaq0
