How To Uninstall libdar64-5 On Debian 7

To uninstall libdar64-5 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdar64-5

Disk ARchiveDebian 7.0libs2.4.5.debian.1-1
sudo apt-get remove libdar64-5

This will remove just the libdar64-5 package itself.

Uninstall libdar64-5 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdar64-5

This will remove the libdar64-5 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdar64-5 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdar64-5

Or similarly, like this libdar64-5

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdar64-5
