How To Uninstall libdb4o-cil-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libdb4o-cil-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdb4o-cil-dev

native OODBMS for CLI - development filesDebian 7.0cli-mono8.0.184.15484+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove libdb4o-cil-dev

This will remove just the libdb4o-cil-dev package itself.

Uninstall libdb4o-cil-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdb4o-cil-dev

This will remove the libdb4o-cil-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdb4o-cil-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdb4o-cil-dev

Or similarly, like this libdb4o-cil-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdb4o-cil-dev
