How To Uninstall libdbus-c++-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libdbus-c++-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdbus-c++-dev

C++ API for D-Bus (development package)Debian 7.0libdevel0.9.0-6
sudo apt-get remove libdbus-c++-dev

This will remove just the libdbus-c++-dev package itself.

Uninstall libdbus-c++-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdbus-c++-dev

This will remove the libdbus-c++-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdbus-c++-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdbus-c++-dev

Or similarly, like this libdbus-c++-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdbus-c++-dev
