How To Uninstall libdirac-encoder0 On Debian 7

To uninstall libdirac-encoder0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdirac-encoder0

open and royalty free high quality video codec - encoder libraryDebian 7.0libs1.0.2-6
sudo apt-get remove libdirac-encoder0

This will remove just the libdirac-encoder0 package itself.

Uninstall libdirac-encoder0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdirac-encoder0

This will remove the libdirac-encoder0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdirac-encoder0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdirac-encoder0

Or similarly, like this libdirac-encoder0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdirac-encoder0
