How To Uninstall libdmraid1.0.0.rc16 On Debian 7

To uninstall libdmraid1.0.0.rc16 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdmraid1.0.0.rc16

Device-Mapper Software RAID support tool - shared libraryDebian 7.0libs1.0.0.rc16-4.2
sudo apt-get remove libdmraid1.0.0.rc16

This will remove just the libdmraid1.0.0.rc16 package itself.

Uninstall libdmraid1.0.0.rc16 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdmraid1.0.0.rc16

This will remove the libdmraid1.0.0.rc16 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdmraid1.0.0.rc16 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdmraid1.0.0.rc16

Or similarly, like this libdmraid1.0.0.rc16

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdmraid1.0.0.rc16
