How To Uninstall libdrizzle-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libdrizzle-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdrizzle-dev

library for the Drizzle and MySQL protocols, development filesDebian 7.0libdevel1:7.1.36-stable-1
sudo apt-get remove libdrizzle-dev

This will remove just the libdrizzle-dev package itself.

Uninstall libdrizzle-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdrizzle-dev

This will remove the libdrizzle-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdrizzle-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdrizzle-dev

Or similarly, like this libdrizzle-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdrizzle-dev
