How To Uninstall libdune-common-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libdune-common-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdune-common-dev

toolbox for solving PDEs -- basic classes (development files)Debian 7.0libdevel2.2.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libdune-common-dev

This will remove just the libdune-common-dev package itself.

Uninstall libdune-common-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdune-common-dev

This will remove the libdune-common-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdune-common-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdune-common-dev

Or similarly, like this libdune-common-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdune-common-dev
