How To Uninstall libecore-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libecore-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libecore-dev

Ecore headers and static librariesDebian 7.0libdevel1.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libecore-dev

This will remove just the libecore-dev package itself.

Uninstall libecore-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libecore-dev

This will remove the libecore-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libecore-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libecore-dev

Or similarly, like this libecore-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libecore-dev
