How To Uninstall libedbus-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libedbus-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libedbus-dev

D-Bus and HAL wrapper libraries for use with the EFL - Development filesDebian 7.0libdevel1.2.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libedbus-dev

This will remove just the libedbus-dev package itself.

Uninstall libedbus-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libedbus-dev

This will remove the libedbus-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libedbus-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libedbus-dev

Or similarly, like this libedbus-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libedbus-dev
