How To Uninstall libelementary-data On Debian 7

To uninstall libelementary-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libelementary-data

runtime data-files for libelementaryDebian 7.0misc0.7.0.55225-1
sudo apt-get remove libelementary-data

This will remove just the libelementary-data package itself.

Uninstall libelementary-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libelementary-data

This will remove the libelementary-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libelementary-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libelementary-data

Or similarly, like this libelementary-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libelementary-data
