How To Uninstall libenet-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libenet-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libenet-dev

thin network communication layer on top of UDP - headersDebian 7.0libdevel1.3.3-2
sudo apt-get remove libenet-dev

This will remove just the libenet-dev package itself.

Uninstall libenet-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libenet-dev

This will remove the libenet-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libenet-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libenet-dev

Or similarly, like this libenet-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libenet-dev
