How To Uninstall libenet1a On Debian 7

To uninstall libenet1a just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libenet1a

thin network communication layer on top of UDPDebian 7.0libs1.3.3-2
sudo apt-get remove libenet1a

This will remove just the libenet1a package itself.

Uninstall libenet1a and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libenet1a

This will remove the libenet1a package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libenet1a then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libenet1a

Or similarly, like this libenet1a

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libenet1a
