How To Uninstall libevtlog0-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall libevtlog0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libevtlog0-dbg

Syslog event logger library debug symbolsDebian 7.0debug0.2.12-5
sudo apt-get remove libevtlog0-dbg

This will remove just the libevtlog0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libevtlog0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libevtlog0-dbg

This will remove the libevtlog0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libevtlog0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libevtlog0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libevtlog0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libevtlog0-dbg
