How To Uninstall libgcj13 On Debian 7

To uninstall libgcj13 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgcj13

Java runtime library for use with gcjDebian 7.0libs4.7.2-3
sudo apt-get remove libgcj13

This will remove just the libgcj13 package itself.

Uninstall libgcj13 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgcj13

This will remove the libgcj13 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgcj13 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgcj13

Or similarly, like this libgcj13

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgcj13
