How To Uninstall libgdcm-cil On Debian 7

To uninstall libgdcm-cil just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgdcm-cil

Grassroots DICOM CLI bindingsDebian 7.0cli-mono2.2.0-14.1
sudo apt-get remove libgdcm-cil

This will remove just the libgdcm-cil package itself.

Uninstall libgdcm-cil and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgdcm-cil

This will remove the libgdcm-cil package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgdcm-cil then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgdcm-cil

Or similarly, like this libgdcm-cil

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgdcm-cil
