How To Uninstall libgeoclue-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libgeoclue-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgeoclue-dev

C API for GeoClue (development files)Debian 7.0libdevel0.12.0-4
sudo apt-get remove libgeoclue-dev

This will remove just the libgeoclue-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgeoclue-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgeoclue-dev

This will remove the libgeoclue-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgeoclue-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgeoclue-dev

Or similarly, like this libgeoclue-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgeoclue-dev
