How To Uninstall libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java On Debian 7

To uninstall libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java

Geronimo API implementation of the J2EE connector 1.5 specDebian 7.0java2.0.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java

This will remove just the libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java package itself.

Uninstall libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java

This will remove the libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java

Or similarly, like this libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgeronimo-j2ee-connector-1.5-spec-java
