How To Uninstall libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java On Debian 7

To uninstall libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java

Geronimo JSR-317 Java Persistence (JPA) 2.0 Spec APIDebian 7.0java1.1-2
sudo apt-get remove libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java

This will remove just the libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java package itself.

Uninstall libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java

This will remove the libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgeronimo-jpa-2.0-spec-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
