How To Uninstall libgexiv2-1-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall libgexiv2-1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgexiv2-1-dbg

GObject-based wrapper around the Exiv2 library (debugging symbols)Debian 7.0debug0.4.1-3
sudo apt-get remove libgexiv2-1-dbg

This will remove just the libgexiv2-1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgexiv2-1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgexiv2-1-dbg

This will remove the libgexiv2-1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgexiv2-1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgexiv2-1-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgexiv2-1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgexiv2-1-dbg
