How To Uninstall libglew-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libglew-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libglew-dev

OpenGL Extension Wrangler - development environmentDebian 7.0libdevel1.7.0-3
sudo apt-get remove libglew-dev

This will remove just the libglew-dev package itself.

Uninstall libglew-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libglew-dev

This will remove the libglew-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libglew-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libglew-dev

Or similarly, like this libglew-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libglew-dev
