How To Uninstall libgme0 On Debian 7

To uninstall libgme0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgme0

Playback library for video game music files - shared libraryDebian 7.0libs0.5.5-2
sudo apt-get remove libgme0

This will remove just the libgme0 package itself.

Uninstall libgme0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgme0

This will remove the libgme0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgme0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgme0

Or similarly, like this libgme0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgme0
