How To Uninstall libgmime2.6-cil-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libgmime2.6-cil-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgmime2.6-cil-dev

CLI binding for the GMime libraryDebian 7.0cli-mono2.6.10-1
sudo apt-get remove libgmime2.6-cil-dev

This will remove just the libgmime2.6-cil-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgmime2.6-cil-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgmime2.6-cil-dev

This will remove the libgmime2.6-cil-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgmime2.6-cil-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgmime2.6-cil-dev

Or similarly, like this libgmime2.6-cil-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgmime2.6-cil-dev
