How To Uninstall libgmtk0-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall libgmtk0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgmtk0-dbg

gnome-mpayer toolkit (debugging symbols)Debian 7.0debug1.0.6-1
sudo apt-get remove libgmtk0-dbg

This will remove just the libgmtk0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libgmtk0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgmtk0-dbg

This will remove the libgmtk0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgmtk0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgmtk0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libgmtk0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgmtk0-dbg
