How To Uninstall libgmtk0 On Debian 7

To uninstall libgmtk0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgmtk0

gnome-mplayer toolkit (shared library)Debian 7.0libs1.0.6-1
sudo apt-get remove libgmtk0

This will remove just the libgmtk0 package itself.

Uninstall libgmtk0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgmtk0

This will remove the libgmtk0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgmtk0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgmtk0

Or similarly, like this libgmtk0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgmtk0
