How To Uninstall libgnet-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libgnet-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgnet-dev

Developer files for GNet network libraryDebian 7.0libdevel2.0.8-2.2
sudo apt-get remove libgnet-dev

This will remove just the libgnet-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgnet-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgnet-dev

This will remove the libgnet-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgnet-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgnet-dev

Or similarly, like this libgnet-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgnet-dev
