How To Uninstall libgnome-menu-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libgnome-menu-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgnome-menu-dev

GNOME implementation of the freedesktop menu specificationDebian 7.0libdevel3.0.1-4
sudo apt-get remove libgnome-menu-dev

This will remove just the libgnome-menu-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgnome-menu-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgnome-menu-dev

This will remove the libgnome-menu-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgnome-menu-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgnome-menu-dev

Or similarly, like this libgnome-menu-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgnome-menu-dev
