How To Uninstall libgraphicsmagick1-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libgraphicsmagick1-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgraphicsmagick1-dev

format-independent image processing - C development filesDebian 7.0libdevel1.3.16-1.1
sudo apt-get remove libgraphicsmagick1-dev

This will remove just the libgraphicsmagick1-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgraphicsmagick1-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgraphicsmagick1-dev

This will remove the libgraphicsmagick1-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgraphicsmagick1-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgraphicsmagick1-dev

Or similarly, like this libgraphicsmagick1-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgraphicsmagick1-dev
