How To Uninstall libgretl1-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libgretl1-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libgretl1-dev

GNU Regression, Econometric & Time-Series Library -- development packageDebian 7.0libdevel1.9.9-1
sudo apt-get remove libgretl1-dev

This will remove just the libgretl1-dev package itself.

Uninstall libgretl1-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libgretl1-dev

This will remove the libgretl1-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libgretl1-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libgretl1-dev

Or similarly, like this libgretl1-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libgretl1-dev
