How To Uninstall libib-util On Debian 7

To uninstall libib-util just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libib-util

Firebird UDF support libraryDebian 7.0libs2.5.2.26540.ds4-1~deb7u2
sudo apt-get remove libib-util

This will remove just the libib-util package itself.

Uninstall libib-util and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libib-util

This will remove the libib-util package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libib-util then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libib-util

Or similarly, like this libib-util

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libib-util
