How To Uninstall libicapapi0-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall libicapapi0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libicapapi0-dbg

ICAP API library debug symbolsDebian 7.0debug1:0.1.6-1.1+deb7u2
sudo apt-get remove libicapapi0-dbg

This will remove just the libicapapi0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libicapapi0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libicapapi0-dbg

This will remove the libicapapi0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libicapapi0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libicapapi0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libicapapi0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libicapapi0-dbg
