How To Uninstall libicc-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libicc-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libicc-dev

Development files for the ICC profile I/O libraryDebian 7.0libdevel2.12+argyll1.4.0-8
sudo apt-get remove libicc-dev

This will remove just the libicc-dev package itself.

Uninstall libicc-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libicc-dev

This will remove the libicc-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libicc-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libicc-dev

Or similarly, like this libicc-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libicc-dev
