How To Uninstall libisc84 On Debian 7

To uninstall libisc84 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libisc84

ISC Shared Library used by BINDDebian 7.0libs1:9.8.4.dfsg.P1-6+nmu2+deb7u10
sudo apt-get remove libisc84

This will remove just the libisc84 package itself.

Uninstall libisc84 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libisc84

This will remove the libisc84 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libisc84 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libisc84

Or similarly, like this libisc84

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libisc84
