How To Uninstall libmarkdown2 On Debian 7

To uninstall libmarkdown2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libmarkdown2

Implementation of Markdown markup language in C (library)Debian 7.0libs2.1.3-3
sudo apt-get remove libmarkdown2

This will remove just the libmarkdown2 package itself.

Uninstall libmarkdown2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libmarkdown2

This will remove the libmarkdown2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libmarkdown2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libmarkdown2

Or similarly, like this libmarkdown2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libmarkdown2
