How To Uninstall libobjc4 On Debian 7

To uninstall libobjc4 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libobjc4

Runtime library for GNU Objective-C applicationsDebian 7.0libs4.7.2-5
sudo apt-get remove libobjc4

This will remove just the libobjc4 package itself.

Uninstall libobjc4 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libobjc4

This will remove the libobjc4 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libobjc4 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libobjc4

Or similarly, like this libobjc4

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libobjc4
