How To Uninstall libpacklib-lesstif1-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libpacklib-lesstif1-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libpacklib-lesstif1-dev

CERNLIB data analysis suite - core GUI library (development files)Debian 7.0libdevel20061220+dfsg3-2
sudo apt-get remove libpacklib-lesstif1-dev

This will remove just the libpacklib-lesstif1-dev package itself.

Uninstall libpacklib-lesstif1-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpacklib-lesstif1-dev

This will remove the libpacklib-lesstif1-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libpacklib-lesstif1-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libpacklib-lesstif1-dev

Or similarly, like this libpacklib-lesstif1-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpacklib-lesstif1-dev
