How To Uninstall libpam-duo On Debian 7

To uninstall libpam-duo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libpam-duo

PAM module for Duo Security two-factor authenticationDebian 7.0libs1.8.1-1~deb7u1
sudo apt-get remove libpam-duo

This will remove just the libpam-duo package itself.

Uninstall libpam-duo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpam-duo

This will remove the libpam-duo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libpam-duo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libpam-duo

Or similarly, like this libpam-duo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpam-duo
