How To Uninstall libpath-utils-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libpath-utils-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libpath-utils-dev

Development files for libpath_utilsDebian 7.0libdevel0.1.3-2
sudo apt-get remove libpath-utils-dev

This will remove just the libpath-utils-dev package itself.

Uninstall libpath-utils-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libpath-utils-dev

This will remove the libpath-utils-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libpath-utils-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libpath-utils-dev

Or similarly, like this libpath-utils-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libpath-utils-dev
