How To Uninstall libqgpsmm-dev On Debian 7

To uninstall libqgpsmm-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libqgpsmm-dev

Global Positioning System - Qt wrapper for libgps (development)Debian 7.0libdevel3.6-4+deb7u1
sudo apt-get remove libqgpsmm-dev

This will remove just the libqgpsmm-dev package itself.

Uninstall libqgpsmm-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libqgpsmm-dev

This will remove the libqgpsmm-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libqgpsmm-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libqgpsmm-dev

Or similarly, like this libqgpsmm-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libqgpsmm-dev
