How To Uninstall libsocksd0 On Debian 7

To uninstall libsocksd0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libsocksd0

SOCKS library for packages built using libsocksd-devDebian 7.0libs1.1.19.dfsg-3+b3
sudo apt-get remove libsocksd0

This will remove just the libsocksd0 package itself.

Uninstall libsocksd0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libsocksd0

This will remove the libsocksd0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libsocksd0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libsocksd0

Or similarly, like this libsocksd0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libsocksd0
