How To Uninstall libstdc++6-4.4-dbg On Debian 7

To uninstall libstdc++6-4.4-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libstdc++6-4.4-dbg

GNU Standard C++ Library v3 (debugging files)Debian 7.0debug4.4.7-2
sudo apt-get remove libstdc++6-4.4-dbg

This will remove just the libstdc++6-4.4-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libstdc++6-4.4-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libstdc++6-4.4-dbg

This will remove the libstdc++6-4.4-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libstdc++6-4.4-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libstdc++6-4.4-dbg

Or similarly, like this libstdc++6-4.4-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libstdc++6-4.4-dbg
