How To Uninstall t1-cyrillic On Debian 7

To uninstall t1-cyrillic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just t1-cyrillic

A basic set of free PostScript fontsDebian 7.0fonts4.16
sudo apt-get remove t1-cyrillic

This will remove just the t1-cyrillic package itself.

Uninstall t1-cyrillic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove t1-cyrillic

This will remove the t1-cyrillic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for t1-cyrillic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge t1-cyrillic

Or similarly, like this t1-cyrillic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove t1-cyrillic
