How To Uninstall tack On Debian 7

To uninstall tack just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tack

terminfo action checkerDebian 7.0misc1.07-1
sudo apt-get remove tack

This will remove just the tack package itself.

Uninstall tack and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tack

This will remove the tack package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tack then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tack

Or similarly, like this tack

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tack
