How To Uninstall tads2-mode On Debian 7

To uninstall tads2-mode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tads2-mode

Emacs mode for editing TADS codeDebian 7.0editors1.2-2
sudo apt-get remove tads2-mode

This will remove just the tads2-mode package itself.

Uninstall tads2-mode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tads2-mode

This will remove the tads2-mode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tads2-mode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tads2-mode

Or similarly, like this tads2-mode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tads2-mode
