How To Uninstall tango-accesscontrol On Debian 7

To uninstall tango-accesscontrol just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tango-accesscontrol

TANGO distributed control system - accesscontrol serverDebian 7.0net7.2.6+dfsg-14
sudo apt-get remove tango-accesscontrol

This will remove just the tango-accesscontrol package itself.

Uninstall tango-accesscontrol and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tango-accesscontrol

This will remove the tango-accesscontrol package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tango-accesscontrol then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tango-accesscontrol

Or similarly, like this tango-accesscontrol

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tango-accesscontrol
