How To Uninstall tapecalc On Debian 7

To uninstall tapecalc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tapecalc

a full-screen tape editor that lets the user edit a calculationDebian 7.0math20070214-2
sudo apt-get remove tapecalc

This will remove just the tapecalc package itself.

Uninstall tapecalc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tapecalc

This will remove the tapecalc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tapecalc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tapecalc

Or similarly, like this tapecalc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tapecalc
