How To Uninstall tardiff On Debian 7

To uninstall tardiff just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tardiff

Tarball comparison toolDebian 7.0utils0.1-1
sudo apt-get remove tardiff

This will remove just the tardiff package itself.

Uninstall tardiff and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tardiff

This will remove the tardiff package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tardiff then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tardiff

Or similarly, like this tardiff

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tardiff
