How To Uninstall tasks On Debian 7

To uninstall tasks just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tasks

simple to do managerDebian 7.0gnome0.20-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove tasks

This will remove just the tasks package itself.

Uninstall tasks and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tasks

This will remove the tasks package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tasks then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tasks

Or similarly, like this tasks

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tasks
